Meeting strangers online can be fun — and it should stay respectful. Here is how we help, and what you can do.

Age requirement

You must be 18 or older to use randum.chat. Report anyone you believe is underage immediately.

Report and leave

During a video call, use Report for harassment, NSFW content, spam, or underage concerns. You can also Leave or skip to end the session right away. Profile pages include report as well.

Privacy controls

In Settings you can make your profile private so only friends see posts, and control whether your friends list is visible. Only friend people you are comfortable messaging.

Practical tips

• Never share your address, phone number, financial info, or passwords.
• Be cautious with links — scammers show up everywhere online.
• If someone makes you uncomfortable, skip and report. You do not owe them a conversation.
• Use a username that does not include your real full name or school.
• Meet in person only if you choose to, and use normal real-world safety practices.

What we look for

We block virtual cameras where possible, monitor for policy-breaking behavior, and review reports. We cannot catch everything in real time — your reports make the network safer for everyone.
